Today’s coffee is a Natural From Burundi and it’s roasted by Local Legends @bailiescoffee . Nemba processes more than 400 tons of coffee during harvest. Cherries, collected by over 2,600 individual farmers from 15 neighbouring communes in Kayanza, are brought to Nemba to be cleaned and sorted. Natural processing isn’t typical in Burundi, making this particular coffee very exciting, the cherries are brought to raised beds where they are spread out in thin layers and slowly dried over a period of 3 weeks. ⏬ BREW GUIDE below & on our story ⏬ THE COFFEE

Region: Kayanza Origin: Burundi Varietal: Red Bourbon Process: Natural Roast: FILTER Altitude: 1800 MASL

TASTE NOTES

We’re all used to having washed coffees from Burundi which I believe produce very floral and light coffees, so this natural process was a real treat the Taste Notes on the bag are pretty much spot on 👍🏻 and if there was one taste that would describe this cup best, it’s Roobios Tea. If you closed your eyes you’d 100% think your drinking it 😍 Pineapple is very subtle but there. It has a light body with this delicate sweetness and it gets sweeter as it cools. A beautiful coffee and another cracker from @brewboxcoffee_ .
