Today’s coffee has came the whole way from the U S of A 🇺🇸 from a super duper micro Roastery in LA, now when I say micro I mean a guy roasting coffee in his garage micro 😅 and that’s exactly what @robbeanscoffee does, he started his business out of passion for Coffee and he reached out to us to try them, We were sent 3 (Ethiopia, Peru & Guatemala) we’ve decided to review the Washed Guatemalan as we believe it was the better roasted out of the 3 . THE COFFEE

Region: San Miguel Escobar Co-op Origin: Guatemala 🇬🇹 Varietal: Caturra Process: Washed Roast: FILTER Altitude: 1500-1900 MASL

TASTE NOTES

ROB hasn’t been roasting for a long time and it is evident in his roasts although out of the 3 samples we received the Guatemalan was the best, bearing in mind that the Americans roast slightly darker than what we’re used to over in this side of the world. It had a lot of sweetness, a good body with very low acidity. There was taste notes of Caramel and Chocolate with this sweet sticky mouthfeel that lingered right to the finish. Compared to the Coffees from Peru and Ethiopia, this had a good roast profile and could taste good through Espresso, but we didn’t try this.

THE SCORE

🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖 6/10
