It’s Friday 🙌🏻 Best day of the week and today ends my Sober October pledge 😬 33 days with no alcohol....Thank god for Coffee 😂 today’s review is a washed Ethiopian from our friends at @rootandbranchcoffee this new washing station is owned by Israel Degfa but is situated high up in a region of Guji where coffee is considered a relatively new crop. Until recently, they only produced natural coffees, but with investment in infrastructure and a great management team, they are now delivering some world class coffees and are largely exclusively focused on high grade speciality coffees. THE COFFEE
Location: Anasora (Guji) Origin: Ethiopia Varietal: Heirloom Process: Washed Roast: Filter. Altitude: 2300m Roasted Notes: Black Tea, Papaya, Red Fruits

TASTE NOTES
I always let my coffee cool Before we take our first sip and my first sip sent me to heaven 😍 it was Really and I mean really tea like, in fact if you closed your eyes you could be drinking some Nambarrie Tea 😅 Good acidity and a medium body with so many layers to it, firstly there was these fruit notes that reminded me of Raspberries and Cranberries, there was also a floral note that had a Chamomile tea taste. The aftertaste was Sweet with a Floral finish that left me wanting to brew another cup 😍, truly a great example of why Ethiopians are one of my favourite origins and another great example of why Root & Branch our one of my favourite coffee roasters 🙏🏻♥️ THE SCORE
🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖 10/10
