Happy Friday guys š¤š» todayās review is a Black Honey processed from El Salvador which was Roasted by @keen_coffee from š³š± and was one of the coffees featured in our @brewboxcoffee_ October š¦šš».
Los Pirineos is a unique farm and Gilberto Baraona is a unique producer. His strategy is to experiment with different cultivars, and assess which ones work best on each part of his farm (as the altitudes range broadly across Los Pirineos).
THE COFFEE:
Farm: Los Pirineos
Origin: El Salvador
Varietal: Pacamara
Process: Black Honey
Roast: Filter.
Altitude: 1500m

TASTE NOTES:
It took me a few times to get this right but when I did š The coffee was extremely Complex while it was hot with a sweetness that develops when it cools, once at room temperature it starts to open up and gets Very Juicy, Sweet with a Sticky Mouthful. The Sweetness and Juiciness reminded me of a very ripe Pineapple. A full body with Great Acidity and taste notes of Limes and Vanilla Cream and a aftertaste of Brown Sugar.
THE SCORE
ššššššššš 9/10
