Happy Sunday folks šŸ™ŒšŸ» It’s our first review of one of the coffees from @brewboxcoffee_ September box and it’s a Washed - Kenyan, Roasted by @westcorkcoffee I’ve really been wanting to try their coffees for ages (in fact years šŸ˜…) and when I heard they were in this months box, excited was an understatement šŸ˜†. THE COFFEE

Region: Gicherori. Origin: Kenya šŸ‡°šŸ‡Ŗ. Varietal: Sl28, Ruiru 11 & Batian. Process: Washed. Roast: Filter.

TASTE NOTES:

This really wasn’t your typical Kenyan, if someone asked me to describe a Kenyan to them I would instantly say Fruit Bomb but this! This is different!! It had great Acidity which gave it this Lemon Sherbet taste to it, the body and aftertaste was very Black tea like with a Sticky/Jammy mouthfeel. There was taste notes of subtle Blackcurrant and Dried fruits. This was a Very different Experience and not your typical Explosion of Fruit that you’d normally get from a Kenyan. I haven’t tried anything like it this year and I have to say I loved it šŸ¤˜šŸ». THE SCORE

šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ– 9/10
