Today marks our final coffee from @ozonecoffeeuk and our last post šŸ˜ž(but don’t worry, we’re only taking a short break from Social media, we’ll be back šŸ˜‰) . So today’s coffee is a fully washed Bourbon from Rwanda and it’s just šŸ‘ŒšŸ» This coffee comes from the Gitesi washing station in the Nyamasheke region of Rwanda. It’s a family owned business and managed by Aime Gitesi, any farmers who bring their coffee to Gitesi are paid a base price and Aime ensures that the farmers receive a second payment depending on what the coffee parchment is sold for which in return, gives the farmers an incentive to increase Quality. T H E - C O F F E E Farm/Wash Station: Gitesi. Origin: Rwanda šŸ‡·šŸ‡¼. Variety: Bourbon. Process: Fully Washed. Roast Level: Light - Medium Taste Notes • Before you had even drank this coffee you got a massive smack in the face with big Floral notes that resembled Lavender. When i took that first sip, I immediately noticed that the cup was very bright with lots of Fruit notes like Strawberries šŸ“šŸ˜‹. The coffee had a very light body with a red apple like acidity which made for a very clean finish, as the coffee cooled down you notice that the cup starts to become more Complex and the body starts to become more Tea like šŸ™ŒšŸ». An absolute smasher of a Rwandan coffee Well done @ozonecoffeeuk šŸ‘šŸ» two absolute bangers from these guys. This coffee ain’t available on their webshop anymore šŸ˜ž (That’s Specialty Coffee For you) but don’t worry! they have a load of delicious coffee for you to try, like the Monte Verde Irma from šŸ‡§šŸ‡· which we reviewed in Ep 35 šŸ™ŒšŸ». T H E - S C O R E šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ–šŸŽ– 9/10
