The guys at @ozonecoffeeuk very kindly sent over us 2 exciting coffees to brew & review 😬 so Today we’re brewing up an Omni roast coffee from Brazil 🇧🇷 (Omni roast basically means that the coffee has been roasted to suit both Filter and Espresso methods.) . . @ozonecoffeeuk is a staple in the London coffee scene, but it’s not an English roastery 😳 Ozone was founded in 1998 from a small township in provincial New Zealand, Ozone has evolved into a world leading coffee roaster and they currently have 3 stores spread across 🇳🇿& 🇬🇧 . This coffee is produced by FAL Café, whom Ozone have worked with since the 2014 Harvest. Sustainability is at the heart of FAL operations on the farms, with almost no waste going to landfill 😳. ⬇️T H E - C O F F E E⬇️ Farm: Fazenda Monte Verde. Origin: Brazil 🇧🇷. Variety: Mundo Novo. Process: Pulped Natural. Roast Level: Light - Medium. Taste Notes • We Brewed the Coffee using the V60 and it gave us a really smooth Silky body with taste notes of Hazelnuts and Dark Chocolate/Cacao Nibs. The aftertaste was a sweet Toffee taste 🙌🏻. As the coffee cools the Toffee note turns more Caramel and gets sweeter and sweeter 🤤 while that Dark chocolate takes a back seat. It all ended with a very clean finish, which made for an overall great experience. I wasn’t a big fan of Omni roast coffees (One roast profile to suit all 🤔) but this one has definitely changed my opinion on them 😆👌🏻. 🤔T H E - S C O R E🤔 🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖 9/10
