Our 2nd coffee from @bonanzacoffeeis a Washed Burundi and this particular one comes from a mixed lot of peaberries from the four washing stations owned by Salum Ramadhan. The Nimu Silas PB means that the usually under-graded peaberries from these washing stations are now selected as premium lots, so that means that the producers are making more return on these beans. Normally coffee beans grow two to a fruit, flat against each other like halves of a peanut, but a funny thing happens in about 5% of the world's coffee and a bean is born an only child and is known as Peaberry. ⬇️T H E - C O F F E E⬇️ Farm: Nimu Silas Origin: Burundi 🇧🇮. Variety: Bourbon PB. Process: Washed Roast Level: Light - Medium . Opening the Bag • Subtle aromas of Citrus. Taste Notes • This cup had a beautifully sweet juicy body with a Oolong tea taste that carry’s right through the cup, Slight taste notes of Oranges, Cherry’s and Blackcurrants that are very subtle. At the end of the cup you get rewarded with a Wine Gum like aftertaste 😋. 🤔T H E - S C O R E🤔 🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖 9/10
