So today we have our second coffee from @roundhillroastery and it’s another Colombian from the Tarqui Cup, but this one placed 2nd with an average score of 88.23 points. I really don’t know how this can beat their last Colombian, so I’m really excited. ⬇️ Here’s a bit of info on Round Hill ⬇️. In 2012 Eddie Twitchett who is the founder of Round Hill Roastery dreamed of one day roasting coffee. While he was working in hospitality in Bath, every break would be spent sampling coffee in one of the many great shops in the city. During this time the dream started to become reality. Starting out in a small industrial building no bigger than a garage, Eddie was roasting and selling for the Bath farmers market every week. Round Hill Roastery is now a small team and have moved to a larger roastery but try and keep that individual and personal feeling that it all started out with. ⬇️T H E - C O F F E E⬇️ Farm: Mirolindo Origin: Colombia 🇨🇴. Variety: Colombia. Process: Tula Fermented & Washed Roast Level: Light - Medium . Opening the bag • Medium intensity with sweet fruit aromas. Taste Notes • My Initial thought on trying this coffee was wow! This is funky, but after you get past that initial Funkiness, there’s this absolutely beautiful Sweet Peaches taste with a slight boozy aftertaste (Like a Bourbon) a very complex cup with a Cherry like finish. A fantastic Colombian coffee although I do prefer the 6th place El Paradis than this coffee (🙀 I know), but nonetheless it’s a fantastic offering and it definitely gets the thumbs up from us 👍🏻. 🤔T H E - S C O R E🤔 🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖 9/10
