Today we have @carrowcoffee who have kindly #gifted us 3 different samples to review, So expect to see more on their coffees in the coming days. They’re a small specialty coffee roaster located on Carrowgarry farm in Sligo, Ireland 🇮🇪. Owned and run by Paolo and Andrew, they had spent 4 years living in Colombia, Where they travelled and learnt about Coffee Farming, Production and Processing. T H E - C O F F E E Farm: Smallholder farmers to the west of lake Kivu. Origin: DR Congo 🇨🇩. Variety: Bourbon Derivatives (Organic). Process: Washed. Roast Level: Light. Opening the bag • Beautiful fresh Berry scent with hints of Chocolate. Taste Notes • The cup delivered a very full body that had a real sweet creamy taste to it. Very low citrus like acidity with taste notes of Peaches. As memory recalls this is my first Coffee from the DR CONGO and it has absolutely blown me away. Can’t wait to try the rest 🤘🏻 T H E - S C O R E 🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖 9/10
